Past Events

The Inaugural Jake’s Reindeer Race, held on December 4, 2004, was an overwhelming success.  Over 1,500 people came out to enjoy the beautiful weather (a sunny and surprising 53 degrees), spend time with family and friends, get some exercise, and support childhood cancer research and awareness.  We are thrilled to have had such a wonderful turnout.  Thank you to all who participated.  Thank you also to all of our sponsors and volunteers who made the race possible.

We are also thrilled to report that over $72,000 was raised by the event.  People have opened their hearts and wallets to support this worthy cause and our thanks go beyond words!!!  The money was donated to CureSearch National Childhood Cancer Foundation.  We feel privileged for being able to contribute to finding new and better treatments for these brave children fighting such a difficult battle.
